Kira Fontana, a singer known for her celebrity vocal coaching and extraordinary musical ear, is thrilled to present 'O Holy Night', a candlelight Christmas concert at Austin's iconic ACL Live at The Moody Theater.
An acclaimed singer-songwriter and composer whose music has been called “mesmerizing” by The New York Times, Kira will be leading the audience in beloved traditional Christmas carols with a 30-piece string orchestra, including musicians from the Austin Symphony. She will be singing gorgeous new takes on classics such as O Holy Night, Joy to the World, O Come, All Ye Faithful, Silent Night and more. Expect to experience an unforgettable candlelight evening at this iconic Austin venue singing along to the most magical Christmas carols with friends and family.
Kira Fontana is recognized as one of the top celebrity vocal coaches in the US. Her client list includes Top 40 artists, hit TV shows The Voice and GLEE, A-list Hollywood actors, Disney and Nickelodeon stars, social media influencers and more. Since moving to Austin from California a few years ago, she has performed at SXSW 2024 and at the Long Center’s ICON 3D outdoor stage. A conservatory trained musician mentored by legendary composers Steve Reich and John Adams, Kira earned a Masters in composition from the Yale School of Music and Bachelors from the renowned Eastman School of Music, and is sure to wow guests with her fresh and inspired takes on these Christmas favorites.
“I’ve been singing these songs most of my life, but there is a beauty and power behind the lyrics and melodies I only recently noticed… a spiritual dimension that makes them come alive in a whole new way. I can’t wait to share the joy I’ve found singing them,” said Kira Fontana, singer and producer of the ‘O Holy Night’ event. "This concert is a free gift to the city, where we can gather together to sing the Christmas songs we know and love, and truly experience the wonder of the season.”
The event is FREE and tickets must be reserved ahead. All tickets are general admission and subject to availability, so it is recommended to show up early to secure your seats. Doors open at 6:00pm. The concert is recommended for ages 12 and up, but all are welcome to attend this special evening.
